Foji Gill - Pumbeeri

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vub8fQsev_w

This isn't a normal bhangra video where the artist or producer are the main feature to the video. Foji (the singer) was hardly shown as the "star". The video starts with clips of Foji's previous work, this furthers the promotion for those videos - if the audience takes a liking to this video then they are likely to want to see more of his work.
The way that the video has been produced really captures the audiences attention because suspense is built from the text at the beginning, telling the audience who's video it is, who's produced the video, how long it took to plan and how many cameras where used. The location is shown followed by Foji being recorded from a handheld camera, speaking to his audience telling them what he's going to do. The music starts and Foji starts dancing by himself, as time goes by it turns into a bhangra flashmob in the middle of Birmingham city centre. The dancers consisted of people from all ages and backgrounds.
I think the purpose for this video was to show people from different backgrounds and ages working together and having fun!
